VICTORY OVER DARKNESS
Victory Over Darkness Addiction Ministry is a nurturing, encouraging, supportive, and educational ministry designed for those suffering from ALL addiction issues who have the desire to walk in the fullness of healing and deliverance. This ministry will equip those who desire to become whole again, and who seek to walk in the life victorious through Jesus Christ.
This is an ongoing ministry that will help each individual grow in Christ. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23) but we all have also been delivered because of Christ and his willingness to die on the cross and his victory over death and sin (John 5:4-5).
While undoubtedly many lives have been helped through the 12 steps recovery programs, we are uncomfortable with that programs vagueness about the nature of God, the saving power of Jesus Christ, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The principles for deliverance have been given in logical order by Christ in his famous message, the Sermon on the Mount Matt 5:3-10.
This is a ministry that deals with ADDICTIONS.
Drug & Alcohol, pornography, fornication, adultery, money, video games, shopping, gambling, credit card debt, overeating, gossip, compulsive obsessive behaviors, etc….
Seven steps to completion and the eighth step to deliverance will usher in a new beginning in your life. This is a Biblical and balanced ministry that will help you overcome your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Based upon the actual works of Jesus rather than psychological theory, this ministry is more effective in helping people change than anything else that has been used before.
