Mission

The mission of the Nehemiah-Emmanuel Community Wellness Center (NE-CWC) is to provide faith-centered health information resources and screening services to the citizens of the Borough of Rankin and adjacent communities in order to promote individual, family, and community health as a vehicle for empowerment.

 

Vision

To establish the NE-CWC as the focal-point for comprehensive, faith-centered clinical and non-clinical health care services for the Borough of Rankin and adjacent communities.

What We Believe 

We believe that God created human beigns as healthy and perfect beings—created in His image.

We believe that God has embedded all of the necessary attributes for health, wellness and healing within all human beings, but that our behaviors impair our ability to tap into those attributes.

We believe that a very real relationship exists between the mind, the body and the spirit of a person and that physical, mental, and emotional disease are the result of unidentified and untreated dis-ease in any one or more of these areas.

We believe that people inherently desire to incorporate their faith and spiritual beliefs into their health and wellness activities as evidenced by overwhelming medical evidence.

We believe that achieving optimal physical, mental and emotional health is a critical element in individual, family, and community development and empowerment.
