Nehemiah Emmanuel Community Development Corporation ("NECDC"), a faith-based 501c(3) organization, was created by the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Rankin. The corporation is not a new religious entity. The NECDC seeks tostrengthen the economies of low and moderate-income communities by implementing programs and projects that build assets, increase workforce capacity, and promote business opportunities. The NECDC replicates innovative community economic development strategies which have proven successful in other communities around the country.
